Mr. Ziegler has 25 years of experience in credit and structured products. Prior to joining CIFC, Mr. Ziegler last served as a Senior Director of Structured Products at ORIX USA. In this role, Mr. Ziegler acted as Portfolio Manager for the firm’s $500mm Structured Product portfolio, which included investments in CLOs, RMBS and ABS. Prior to joining ORIX in 2012, Mr. Ziegler was a Director at Highland Capital Management LP, where he held various roles, including investing the firm’s capital in various Structured Products and marketing firm strategies to institutional investors. Prior to joining Highland, Mr. Ziegler was an Associate in the Structuring and Origination Group within the Global Structured Finance division of Banc of America Securities LLC, where he focused on structuring Single-Seller Conduit programs up to $25 billion. During his time with Banc of America Securities LLC, Mr. Ziegler also oversaw the bank’s exposure to interest rate swaps employed across various securitized asset classes. Mr. Ziegler began working at Banc of America LLC as a credit analyst on the High-Grade Bond and Commercial Paper desk. Mr. Ziegler earned a BBA in Business Management and an MBA from Winthrop University and has passed the NASD Series 7, 63 and 65 exams
