Mr. Hager has 26 years of experience focused in accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and fund operations. Prior to joining CIFC, Chad held the position of Senior Controller at Diameter Capital Partners LP, where he was responsible for fund accounting, tax and regulatory compliance. Prior to Diameter, he spent a decade as CFO for Wilson Capital Management LLC, a boutique long/short equity hedge fund manager, and before that as Controller/CCO at Second Curve Capital. Mr. Hager started his career in public accounting, providing audit, tax, and advisory services to a variety of industry groups before focusing on the fund space as a Manager in the Alternative Investment Group at Marcum LLP. Mr. Hager holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Hofstra University, and has been a licensed CPA in the State of New York since 1999.
