Mr. Gendal has 25 years of experience in credit and investment research. Prior to joining CIFC, Mr. Gendal was Managing Partner of Logen Asset Management for three years. Prior to his time with Logen, Mr. Gendal was with Whippoorwill Associates, an investment firm focused on distressed debt and special situations, for over 15 years, last serving as Portfolio Manager and Director of Research. Before joining Whippoorwill Associates, Mr. Gendal was a Litigation and Valuation Consultant at Goldstein, Golub Kessler & Company, an Analyst of high-yield and distressed securities at Greenwich High Yield, and a Corporate Finance Associate at Brean Murray & Company. Mr. Gendal received a B.S. in Finance from Syracuse University in 1993 and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1996.

Mr. Heckler has 24 years of experience in credit and investment research. Prior to joining CIFC, Mr. Heckler was a Director at DW Partners focused on research and investing in the distressed and performing High Yield Bond and Leverage Loan markets. Previously, he worked as a Managing Director of Research at both Logen Asset Management and Whippoorwill Associates. Mr. Heckler has also worked at Satellite Asset Management, Wexford Capital and Lazard Freres as a Senior Analyst in Distressed Research. Mr. Heckler earned a B.S. in Finance from Babson College in 1990 and an MBA from The Stern School of Business at NYU in 1998.

Mr. Patwardhan has 8 years of experience in investment management, restructuring, financial consulting, investment appraisal and financial modeling. Prior to CIFC, Mr. Patwardhan served as a senior analyst at Logen Asset Management for three years. Before his time with Logen, Mr. Patwardhan was as an Associate at Alix Partners where he focused on turnarounds and restructurings. Prior to Alix, Mr. Patwardhan was an Associate with Istithmar World, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Government of Dubai, for two years. At Istithmar, Mr. Patwardhan concentrated on a North American distressed asset portfolio in retail, entertainment, gaming, hospitality, and real estate sectors. Mr. Patwardhan began his career as an Analyst with Dun & Bradstreet focusing on government clients in the Middle East, for two years. Mr. Patwardhan has a Bachelor of Commerce from Pune University. He is an Associate Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a CFA charter.

Mr. Verma has 21 years of credit, investment management, and business development experience. Prior to joining CIFC, Mr. Verma served as Managing Director and Head of Business Development for Logen Asset Management. Prior to his tenure with Logen, Mr. Verma was a Partner and Head of Business Development at Reef Road Capital, a corporate credit focused investment manager formed by senior members of JP Morgan’s credit trading business and Bell Point Capital Management, for five years. Previous to Reef Road, Mr. Verma spent three years as a Partner and Head of Business Development at Bell Point, a liquid multi-strategy credit opportunities hedge fund formed by former senior members of Credit Suisse Alternative Capital and Citadel Investment Group. Prior to Bell Point, Mr. Verma was Senior Principal and Co-Head of Private Equity and External Manager Origination at The BMB Group/EMP Global, the family office of members of the Royal Family of Brunei. Prior, Mr. Verma spent six years as a founding member and investment professional of the Alternative Capital Division at Credit Suisse. Mr. Verma holds a B.A. in Economics from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University. Mr. Verma is a member of the Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle.
